Dissertation Theme: The Environmental Rhetoric of Contemporary Finnish Speculative Fiction.

My research project concerns contemporary Finnish speculative fiction and the ways in which it brings forth environmental questions. I explore the various narrative strategies employed by authors to shift their readers’ outlook on the actual world and its environments.
