Habeeb Yahya is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Turku School of Economics of the University of Turku, having defended his doctoral thesis in spring 2024. 

As a hubby, Habeeb is skilled in UI/UX and Flutter programming language for mobile App development. Habeeb enjoys playing table tennis, tennis, and football.  

Habeeb is interested in Corporate Finance topics and is currently focusing on sustainable Finance. As a Nigerian-Finnish, he's enthusiastic about research on emerging markets' structure, performance, and evaluation. 

Habeeb’s research has attracted research funding from well-known contemporary foundations. Previously, Habeeb has held academic and industry positions, gaining invaluable theoretical and practical experience that has added further value and broadened his horizons, enabling him to contribute meaningfully to academia and society.
