Reseach group of Algorithmics and Computational Intelligence
Riikka Numminen is a doctoral candidate at the Department of Computing, University of Turku, currently working in a project related to machine learning in Systems Pharmacology. She received a MSc degree in Applied Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Turku in 2018.
Riikka's main research interests include machine learning model development and performance evaluation by cross-validation methods. On a more general level, she is interested in theoretical computer science and probability theory, and would like to apply these in her research.
