atopic diseases; prenatal stress
I gratuated as MD from the University of Turku in 2018. I'm working with my PhD project in the FinnBrain research group.
In my PhD project, we're working on learning more about the relation of maternal stress during pregnancy and the risk of atopic diseases in the children later in life. Atopic diseases are a group of conditions with a similar background in immunology. They consist of asthma, atopic dermatitis, food allergies and allergic rhinitis.
- Paternal adverse childhood experiences are associated with a low risk of atopy in the offspring (2024)
- Acta Paediatrica
- Maternal prenatal psychological distress associates with offspring early-life wheezing - FinnBrain Birth Cohort (2022)
- Pediatric Allergy and Immunology
- Maternal psychological distress during gestation is associated with infant food allergy (2021)
