Biography

Rituporn Gogoi is currently serving as a SUSMAT Postdoctroal researcher at the mechanical and materials engineering department in the university of Turku. He pursued postgraduation and doctoral studies in chemical sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi in India. In 2021, he received the SPARC fellowship based on an Indo-French grant and invited as a visiting researcher at Université Paris-Saclay, France. Over the past years, he has been involved in exploring functional nanomaterials and understanding their exciting structure-property correlation for solar light-driven catalysis.

Research

I am currently investigating into the field of functional one-dimensional (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) nanomaterials, with a particular focus on their application in highly flexible wearable electronic devices. The goal is to fabricate 1D nanowires with a high aspect ratio and mold them into innovative 2D designs. These designs are expected to demonstrate exceptional flexibility, durability, and transparency. Additionally, the materials would serve as cost-effective conducting electrode materials with the vision of contributing to sustainable technologies.
