I am a Finnish bioethicist and moral philosopher working at the Turku Institute for Advanced Studies and Department of Philosophy, Contemporary History and Political Science. Previously I have held research positions at the University of Oslo and Aarhus University. I am an editorial board member of Bioethics, and BMC Medical Ethics. I am also the Section Editor for Biomedical Ethics for the third edition of the Encyclopedia of Applied Ethics.

I work on my research project FETISH – Fairness and Equality in Technological Impact on Sexual Health (suom. Filosofia, Etiikka ja Teknologia Intiimisuhteissa Seksuaaliterveydessä ja Hyvinvoinnissa).

I have taught applied ethics, bioethics and introductuion to philosophy and ethics at the University of Oslo, Aarhus University and University of Turku.
