Dr. P. Guruprasad Reddy is currently serving as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, University of Turku in Finland. In 2011, Dr. Reddy acquired a Master of Science degree in Inorganic Chemistry from Srikrishna Deveraya University in India and later earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science from IIT-Mandi in India in 2018. Prior to joining Turku University, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at IISER-Tirupati in India from 2018 to 2020, and subsequently at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel until March 2023. With a focus on Chemistry and material science, Dr. Reddy has published over 35 research articles.
I am primarily interested in researching sustainable polymers that can be used for flexible electronics. My focus is on creating conducting polymers that are transparent, flexible, durable, and biodegradable, all of which are necessary for the production of flexible electronic devices. Alongside developing polymer materials, I am also involved in the preparation of nanomaterials and nanocomposites that can be used in other electronic devices.
