My research focuses on the effects of prenatal smoking/nicotine exposure on maternal and child health. I have established a maternity and child health clinic study (the KESALATU Study), which is an ongoing prospective follow-up study in primary health care of Central Satakunta in Finland. I'm also expirienced in utilizing the Finnish Medical Registers e.g., the Medical Birth Register.
