Veli Virmajoki, Docent (Associate Professor), Ph.D., works in futures research. Currently, he is working with topics related to futures of work. His work also focuses on the futures of science, futures of universities, and the impact of scientific developments on society. He has published on wide variety of topics including futures research and foresight, technological systems and time, philosophy of science, and counterfactual thinking. Virmajoki's interdisciplinary approach combines theoretical insights with strategic foresight.
