Biography

I worked at the University of Turku in 2021–24 as a university teacher in Art history, in the Degree Programme in Media Studies, Musicology and Art History. In 2020, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Bio- and Environmental Sciences at University of Jyväskylä, in the art & science project “A Sacred Place? Discourses and Place Embeddedness of Finnish human-nature relationship". I graduated with a Ph.D. degree in 2019 with a research on the history of media arts in Finland.

Since 2009, I have held various classes at the  University of Turku, Open University of Turku, the Academy of Fine Arts and the School of Fine Arts at the Turku Academy of Arts. In 2008–09, I worked in Art history at the University of Turku.

Editor in chief in Tahiti journal for Art History 2021–24, board member of The Society for Art History in Finland 2021-, editorial board member of Taidehistoriallisia tutkimuksia (Jufo 2) 2021-, editorial board member of Tahiti journal for Art History (Jufo 1) 2019-, editorial board member of Utukirjat Publishing 2010–14.
