My research interests are Finnish Iron Age cairns and problematizing their functions and meanings in the past. I'm especially interested about waste-like materials in the cairns, and their relationship with both profane and ritual actions. I'm utilizing spatial and ceramic analysis in interpreting the cairns. I have also a varied experience in field archaeology.
