Tiivistelmä

Allium vineale has been discovered in three localities on the island of Satava, Turku (Finland proper / Varsinais-Suomi), for the first time from the city of Turku. The closest previously known occurrences are roughly 40–50 kilometers away, in the southwestern archipelago, and in the coastal areas east of Turku. All new localities were recorded from dry grasslands at various stages of secondary succession in close proximity to old sites of human habitation. Based on the habitat and historical context of these localities, A. vineale is obviously an archaeophyte in the region. With only three observations, the species is far rarer than other established species of Allium in Turku, such as A. schoenoprasum or A. oleraceum.
