Abstract
The fauna of the subfamily Oxytorinae Thomson, 1883, in the Middle East consists of only two species, Oxytorus armatus Thomson, 1883, and Oxytorus luridator (Gravenhorst, 1820), that have been recorded from Iran and Turkey (O. luridator).
