Tiivistelmä

Regeneration is one of the growing sustainability concepts that can help businesses address the rising issues in the society and environment. It goes beyond traditional approaches of damage reduction and risk management to adopt a comprehensive strategy that promotes the optimal functioning of natural and social systems that are inextricably linked to a company's activities. The availability of food, clean water, and the control of climate are just a few of the ecosystem services that are at serious risk due to biodiversity loss, making this shift especially important. Local ecological systems are frequently stewarded by communities, and their continued involvement is crucial to the long-term preservation of biodiversity. Thus, this study emphasizes the innate connection between humans and nature while examining the regenerative attitude in organizations. This research will use case studies and obtain data from in-depth semi-structured interviews and document analysis of the companies involved. By delving more into effective regenerative strategies, this research seeks to provide theoretical and practical framework that advances knowledge of regenerative strategies and how they can be effectively applied in businesses to ensure biodiversity conservation and societal wellbeing.
