Abstract

The implementation of sustainability strategy is at the heart of responsible corporate behavior. This implementation, however, crucially rests on the interaction and practices between organizational stakeholders. In this manuscript, we investigate the experiences of actors' agency in the interactions between stakeholders including engineering, finance and marketing. We find e.g. that misaligned interaction experiences, communication and expectations deteriorate agency and hinder sustainability strategy implementation.
