Abstract

Mia Lövheim is a Swedish sociologist of religion based at Uppsala University. Her areas of specialty include media, youth and religion in late modern societies. Her latest book, Sökare i cyberspace: Ungdomar och religion i ett modernt mediesamhälle (“Seekers in Cyberspace: Youth and Religion in a Modern Media Society”), deals precisely with this topic in a Swedish context. The text is targeted towards a general audience and thus explains many basic issues in detail as well as lacks comprehensive references.
