Tässä katsauksessa tuomme esille lämmön tematiikan ja pohdimme sitä erityisesti suhteessa varhaiskasvatuksen opettajan ammatillisuuteen sekä varhaiskasvatuksen opettajankoulutukseen. Käytämme termiä "lämpö kuvaamaan kokoavasti ja kokonaisvaltaisesti varhaiskasvatuksen opettajan työn vuorovaikutuksellista olemusta ja lämpöä siinä sekä oppimisympäristön merkitystä lämmön kokemuksessa.Tarkastelemme, mitä viime vuosikymmenien tutkimuskirjallisuus toteaa lämmöstä erityisesti suhteessa varhaiskasvatuksen opettajan vuorovaikutukseen ja sitä, millä tavoin varhaiskasvatuksen oppimisympäristö tukee lämmön kokemusta opettajan ja lapsen vuorovaikutussuhteessa.

In this article, we highlight the theme of warmth, specifically examining its relevance to the professionalism of early childhood education teachers and teacher training in early childhood education. We explore what research literature from recent decades reveals about warmth, particularly in relation to the interactions of early childhood education teachers and how the learning environment in early childhood education supports the experience of warmth in the teacher-child interaction. We use the term "warmth" to comprehensively describe the interactive nature of early childhood education teaching and the warmth within it, as well as the significance of the learning environment in shaping the experience of warmth.
