The pseudoscorpion genus Parolpium Beier, 1931 (Olpiidae) is reported from Iran for the first time, and a new species, Parolpium litoreum sp.n. is described on the basis of two females collected in the littoral zone of the Persian Gulf in southern Iran. In addition, illustrations, measurements, and some notes on its habitat occurrence are given.
