Abstract
Obesity is a considerable threat to the future health of our children. Data from a large prospective cohort study have now led to the generation of a simple tool that can be used in the neonatal period to identify babies at the highest risk of developing obesity later in life. Will this tool prove useful or not? Sabin, M. A. & Juonala, M. Nat. Rev. Endocrinol 9, 136-138 (2013); published online 5 February 2013; doi:10.1038/nrendo.2013.16
