Nursing interventions are aimed at improving nursing care and outcomes for individual patients, groups and citizens. However, studies on nursing interventions and their outcomes are scarce and need further development. This chapter aims to describe research on the individualised care interventions from patients’ and healthcare professionals’ (nursing professionals’) perspective and from other points of view. This section is based on two reviews on the effects of individualised interventions on patient outcomes. An update on literature has been conducted since 2013 where the last review ended.
