In this paper we look at the problem of modern day censorship practices. We start from traditional censorship, which is essential for the main point. Through censorship we will look at self-censorship, which as shown is a fundamental part when discussing hate speech and hate speech censorship. The idea of this paper is not to talk about censorship itself, but technological assistance and the vague idea of those things that the technology is aimed to be a counterforce for. We argue that through a multi-ethical analysis we are able to show that there is no major ethical theory in which censorship itself is justified. Moreover we aim to show that use of Artificial Intelligence applications in hunting and censoring hate speech is in fact an immoral act in itself.
