Manju Kapur is a remarkable contemporary Indian novelist. She has so far published six novels between 1998 and 2016, and has edited the anthology Shaping the World: Women Writers on Themselves (2014). Kapur's first novel, Difficult Daughters (1998) won the 1999 Commonwealth Writers' Prize, best first book, Europe and South Asia. Her works have been translated into eleven languages. Interest in Kapur has been growing steadily since 1998 and this is clear also from the sheer volume of critical attention she has gained. The present bibliography is the most comprehensive one with over one thousand entries. It covers latest information on Kapur's works and their various editions and translations, interviews, criticism of Kapur's works in books and dissertations as well as critical articles in journals and anthologies. The bibliography is helpful for readers of Manju Kapur's fiction, whether they are students, researchers, supervisors or general readers.
