Abstract

The role of teachers in supporting mentors is increasingly important; nevertheless the role of the teacher in clinical practicum nowadays is under discussion. Mentors need both clinical and academic support in their role. The collaborative role of nurse teachers provides them with the possibility to act as nursing science experts and as partners who cooperate with the mentors of nurses and leaders developing nursing and nursing education.
