Internet art galleries are popular spaces for young artists to represent and share their art. This enables them to obtain feedback and create their general concept of art. By interpreting an interview with a young artist, drawings and textual interactions, this article examines the culture of the popular Finnish art gallery Harhakuva.org.

The results show that this online interaction teaches the youth to draw realistically, which they regard highly, and that they find more honesty and relevance in the feedback that they receive on the Internet than in what their teachers provide at school.
