Tiivistelmä
Polymerization of 3-methylthiophene on bare and chemically modified ITO has been studied by STM. Deposition begins by formation of oligomeric islets, and later polymer bundles and macroscopic centres appear. Modification serves to increase the density of polymeric features on the surface, which leads to a more controlled growth.
