Sylvi. Murhenäytelmä 3:ssa osassa is a reconstruction of the first Finnish full-length feature film, directed by Teuvo Puro in 1911 and released by Lyyra Filmi on 1913. I have reconstructed the film on the basis of all existing footage and available historical sources and written intertitles according to the original play by Minna Canth. The reconstruction was premiered at the Finnish Film Festival on 7 April 2016. The digital DCP copy was produced by the National Audiovisual Institute.
