Abstract
The aim of this study was to develop of a flow-through multi-wire proportional counter with high sensitivity for positrons emitted from the commonly used positron emitters C-11, O-15, F-18 and Ga-68. The detector was designed for use in studying time-activity curves in rats after i.v. injection of [O-15] water.
