Tiivistelmä

This short post presents the concepts of interdisciplinarity and Institutes for Advanced Studies, and announces the aims of the NORDIAS Workshop series, which the author designed, won funding for, and helped to co-ordinate on behalf of Turku Institute for Advanced Studies.
