Seventeen polymorphic microsatellite markers were developed for Eurasian perch, using double-restriction-site-associated DNA approach combined with Ion Torrent PGM (TM) sequencing. In test panel of 48 individuals from two populations, the average number of alleles per locus was 10.2, ranging from 2 to 24. These variable microsatellites will be invaluable resource for population genetic studies in perch.
