Antti Lindfors is a PhD candidate at the University of Turku, Finland.
His dissertation deals with stand-up comedy as a performance
of self-presentation and an economy of relatability. His texts have
been or will be released in the Journal of Linguistic Anthropology,
Ethnologia Europaea: The Journal of European Ethnology, and Cultural
Analysis: An Interdisciplinary Forum on Folklore and Popular Culture.
Methodologically, he is concerned with the overlaps and contact points
between folkloristics, linguistic anthropology, and cultural studies.
Lindfors
