Biography

Lucía researches global trends in foreign direct investment and technological advancement in the Global South. Her research examines the activities of multinational enterprises in the information and communication and education sectors in Latin America and their potential for technological and socioeconomic development. She has researched innovation districts in advanced and emerging economies as platforms for multinational enterprises' entry and tools of urban development. Her previous professional experience includes work as an architect and development cooperant.
