Syed Rameez Ullah Kakakhel received his bachelor’s in Computer Engineering in 2010 and Masters in Embedded Computing Systems in 2015. He is currently pursuing his PhD from the Department of Computing at the University of Turku. His research is focused on fog computing and distributed autonomic edge computing systems.
If we were to create a network of computers that were autonomous in operation (self-managing, self-governing, self-balancing), what would such a system look like? What technologies of today can be used to create such systems and where can we use them? Inherently an exploratory study of autonomic architectures, to utilization and the inherent benefits, limitations and pitfalls.
