Dr. Sini Laari is a university teacher in Operations & Supply Chain Management. Her main field of research is sustainability in supply chains. Her research primarily draws from statistical research methods. She teaches supply chain management and sustainability and supervises theses at all levels.
Sini defended her award-winning doctoral thesis on the connection between firm performance and green supply chain management in University of Turku in 2016. After that, she worked 6 months at the Finnish Defence Research Agency before returning to University of Turku as a postdoctoral researcher.
She has published articles in International Journal of Production and Operations Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, Business Strategy and the Environment, and Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, for example, and acts as a reviewer for several journals.
In her freetime Sini enjoys playing floorball and spending time outdoors.
