RNA polymerase, transcription, cyanobacteria, gene regulation, photosynthesis
My research focused on cyanobacterial RNA polymerase and regulation of gene expression in cyanobacteria. Currently we are testing RNA polymerase mutants in biotechnical applications and studying carbon sensing and signaling in the model cyanobacterium Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803
