I
am M.Sc. (econ.) Coordinator Sari Söderlund at the Finland Futures Research
Centre (FFRC, Turku School of Economics TSE, University of Turku UTU, Finland)
and I have worked as a part of the futures studies/ foresight society since
1998. There has been a variety of futures studies education, research and
development positions such the coordinator of the Finland Futures Academy
(FFA), which is a national network of 10 universities for futures studies
academic education. As the special advisor of the Committee for the Future at
Finnish Parliament I worked as a part of the Finnish national democratic
decision-making system during 2016-17. In past years I have been active with
national Futures Focus education and development services and transnational
education by opening up avenues for international co-operation. I am a regular
expert and lecturer in strategic foresight programmes of TSE exe (business
studies adult education, TSE, UTU) in such fields as corporate foresight, and
ontology and epistemology and science philosophy of futures studies, and in
such programmes as e.g. Certified Foresight Professional Programme (CFP),
Managing strategic foresight (in Finnish: SEJO, Strategisen ennakoinnin
johtaminen), JOKO and EMBA (management programmes) and Business Talent Academy
(BTA).
