Biography




Research

My research focuses on developing interventions that support families, evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and social services, financial social work, economic abuse, child protection, and the service experiences and service pathways of clients who use multiple services. I aim to conduct research that contributes to service development so that social work clients receive the best possible, research-based support.

Ongoing research projects

  • 2025–2026 Strong Financial Skills for Families – Randomized Controlled Trial of the FinSoc Intervention (Principal Investigator)
  • 2026–2027 Economic Abuse from a Life Course Perspective (Principal Investigator)
  • 2026–2028 Family Law Services and Social Work: Agreements on Child Custody, Living Arrangements, and Child Support after Separation (SOVINTO) (Senior Researcher)
