Biography

Juha Räikkä is a professor of practical philosophy at the University of Turku, Finland. He earned his doctoral degree in 1992. His research interests include topics such as justice, privacy, forgiveness, remorse, self-deception, just war theory, equality, burden of proof, and conspiracy theories. Räikkä’s recent publications include "The Matthew Effect and Ethics" (The Heythrop Journal 2025) and "Intra-Personal Compromises" (Argumenta 2024).
