I finished my PhD in May 2018. My doctoral research concentrated on health education (smoking prevention), promotion of health literacy, health games and early adolescents. One of the main approaches was to support youth participation and youth-orientation during the intervention research process. As part of my research, we developed mobile health game Fume that is targeted at early adolescents to support their tobacco-free life.

Currently my Post doc research projects concentrate on health promotion of children and adolescents and digital interventions as well as on evidence-based nursing from different perspectives.
