Biography
Maryna Manteghi is a doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Law, University of Turku. She is currently working on her doctoral dissertation and serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Faculty's online publication, Insights.
Research
Maryna's research focuses on copyright law and artificial intelligence, particularly on how EU copyright regulation interacts with new technologies such as text and data mining and generative AI. She is especially interested in the balance between protecting authors’ rights and enabling innovation, as well as the broader implications of AI for creativity, access to knowledge, and legal frameworks in the digital age.
