I am a nurse and a public health nurse. In the clinical field, I have worked e.g. in a neurosurgical inpatient ward. In the spring 2016 I graduated as a Master of Nursing Science with the minor subject of older people nursing science. Since the January of 2017, I have worked as a doctoral candidate at the Department of Nursing Science, University of Turku.

My doctoral thesis is part of the research programme of Ethical Health Care and Nursing. The topic of my thesis is constructing the ethical pathway of patients with stroke.
