Economic assymmetry and intergenerational differences; Income, wealth and consumption inequalities; Age-Period-Cohort modeling; Static and dynamic microsimulations (SISU, EUROMOD, ABM); Quantitative research
I am Senior researcher at the University of Turku. In my PhD-thesis I studied researching intergenerational economic inequalities from the perspective of life course theory. In my economic research if focus on holistic approach to the economic inequality studies, because the chosen framework is based on intergenerational differences over income, wealth and consumption.
Currently I am working as part of EU funded Horizon2020 project Mapping inequalities through the life course (MapIneq). The project studies the trends and drivers of intergenerational, educational, labour market and health inequalities over the life course during the last decades.
Previously, I worked as part of TITA-consortium (Tackling Inequalities in the Times of Austerity) and Horizon2020 Beyond4.0 as a project researcher. In addition, I have worked as university teacher in university of Turku and Tampere.
