I investigate how dietary interventions influence metabolic diseases. My research integrates metabolomics, metagenomics, imaging, and other prognostic biomarkers to uncover the mechanisms by which specific metabolites and functional gut microbiota strains contribute to metabolic benefits, with a focus on their role in the pathophysiology and pathogenesis of these diseases. I am also interested in developing methodological approaches for non-targeted metabolite profiling, data integration across multiple biological matrices, and exploring lifestyle interventions for improving metabolic health.
