Saku Lindroos received his BBA degree in business communication and information security from the Turku University of Applied Sciences, Turku, Finland, in 2014. His M.Sc. (Tech) degree in networked systems security he received from the University of Turku, Finland, in 2020. He is currently pursuing a D.Sc. (Tech) degree in Information and Communication Technology at the University of Turku, Department of Computing, where he holds the occupation of project researcher. His current research interests include wireless network security, security and privacy in communication systems, ethical hacking and computer ethics.
My research interests are centred on various aspects of cybersecurity. Moreover, I am deeply interested in how the ongoing changes guiding us toward smart environments and networked information societies affect cybersecurity and personal privacy. Currently, I am conducting research on Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) security and how the move toward smart environments affects the larger WLAN landscape. My research aims to find harmful trends in WLAN security and find solutions to increase the security of WLAN networking in networked smart environments.
