Adel Dashela is a Yemeni researcher and lecturer, currently a Non-Resident Fellow at the Finnish Institute in the Middle East (FIME) and formerly a Postdoctoral Fellow at Columbia University's Global Center for Middle Eastern Studies. His research focuses on post-conflict transitional justice, examining the intersection of conflict, peace studies, and tribal dynamics. He holds a Ph.D. in English, specializing in political prison literature in the Arab world, from Dr. BAMU, India, and has presented at international academic conferences across India, Türkiye, Finland, Jordan, Lebanon, and the Netherlands.
My studies currently primarily focus on Post-Conflict Transitional Justice and Reconciliation, Conflict Studies, Peace Studies, Regional Issues, and Yemeni Social and Political Affairs, with a particular emphasis on analyzing Tribal Dynamics.
