I am a doctoral researcher in digital language studies in the doctoral programme in languages and translation studies, Utuling, at the University of Turku.

I have worked as a research assistant, project researcher and teacher at the University of Turku. All these have been related to linguistics in multilingual projects (Finnish, English, French). In addition, I have organized international conferences (The Finnish Conference of Linguistics, 2022 and Approaches to Digital Discourse Analysis, 2019) and worked with children and science in Tiedetestaajat funded by the Finnish Cultural Foundation.

I represent doctoral researchers of the Faculty of Humanities in the steering committee of the graduate school UTUGS 2022–2023. I am a member of Junecto ry, an association for doctoral researchers in the University of Turku’s Faculty of Humanities’ doctoral programmes, Juno and Utuling (2021–). I am also responsible for communications of the association (2022–).

I have graduated as a master of arts in 2018 and a bachelor of arts in 2016 from the French department at the University of Turku. During my studies, I have also spent a year in Graz, Austria in 2017-2018 and an exchange year at Université Lumière Lyon II in France in 2014-2015.

In my research, I focus on communication and interaction during the Covid-19 pandemic from the language use perspective, and how different media actors react to crisis. My research is funded by C.V. Åkerlundin mediasäätiö 2022-2023. Multidisciplinary TurkuNLP language technology team:
