Research

My doctoral dissertation, published in 2025, examined recovery from work, with a particular focus on promoting recovery through a recovery intervention based on Acceptance and Commitment Training. I am currently researching organisational factors influencing recovery from work and also work as a university teacher.

Teaching

I work as a university teacher in the unit of Management and Organisation. I teach the courses TEVYA: Futures Thinking, Personal Competencies and Project Work and JO1: Leadership, Work Performance and Wellbeing. In addition, I supervise Bachelor’s theses in Management and Organisation.

I also serve as one of the teacher tutors ("omaopettaja") in our discipline and occasionally act as a guest lecturer on other courses. Furthermore, I regularly give lectures on my research themes outside the university.
