I work as Senior Researcher at the Department of Teacher Education, at the Centre for Research on Learning and Instruction (CERLI). My degrees are Doctor of Education and Master of Laws.
I am also Communications Officer at the Finnish Society for Research on Adult Education (https://www.aikuiskasvatuksentutkimusseura.fi/)
My previous work experience in the field of education:

- Project Manager at the Department of Teacher Education in OVET/DOORS project (www.sites.utu.fi/ovet)
My research interests include learning and teaching in higher education and professional development in working life, especially from the perspective of professional knowledge, identities and agency. In my PhD, I examined student and primary teachers' agency in integrating theory and practice. I am also interested in career transitions, and affect and embodiment in working life. I mainly focus on in-depth qualitative methods such as discourse, narrative, and sociomaterial analysis.
Currently, I work for the following projects:
