Research community or research topic
Sorting of low-dimensional nanomaterials and their applications in optoelectronic devices

Biography

I received my Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Würzburg in 2015. Following that, I worked as a postdoc at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) until June 2023. I then joined the University of Turku as a TCSMT Collegium Researcher and junior group leader.

Research

My research is centered around sorting low-dimensional nanomaterials, including carbon nanotubes, for use in optoelectronic devices. I work on methods for the separation and purification of these nanomaterials to prepare them for subsequent applications. Additionally, I am involved in the fabrication of thin films using these sorted materials. The goal is to better understand and improve the functionality of optoelectronic devices.
