Before starting my doctoral candidate studies in 2016, I worked as a literary translator and freelance copyeditor for seven years. I have translated works by Hélène Cixous, Marguerite Duras, Luce Irigaray and Lola Lafon, among others. I have also written a novel, children's literature and essays. I completed my Master’s degree in 2010, and my multidisciplinary Master’s thesis combined French literature and philosophy from the 20th century and formed a dialogue between the works of Marguerite Duras, Luce Irigaray and Jacques Lacan. My second Master’s thesis focused on the theme of how literary style and rhythm can be translated. 

As both a researcher and literary translator, I am interested in the transitions between different genres, languages and cultures. My doctoral dissertation analyses texts created by multilingual, transcultural and experimental women authors. My study is situated in the interspace between comparative literature, gender studies, feminist philosophy and translingual studies. In 2018, I served as a visiting researcher at Le LEGS (Laboratoire d’études de genre et de sexualité) in CNRS/UPL Paris 8/Paris Nanterre. Beginning from 2019, I've been associated with the LEGS as a PhD researcher. In 2022 I was a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley in the U.S.

French literature, feminine writing and lyric essay are among the topics that I have taught as a visiting lecturer at various educational institutions, including the Academy of Fine Arts, the University of Helsinki and the Finnish Adult Education Centre, Helsinki. I have also given lectures that combine theoretical sections with creative writing exercises. In 2021, I taught Finnish literature at Inalco in Paris.
