I'm an Assistant Professor of Sociology (tenure track), Academy Research Fellow and the scientific programme coordinator of the NORFACE-funded DIAL programme (Dynamics of Inequality Across the Life-course). I'm located at the Inequalities, Interventions and New Welfare State (INVEST) Flagship.
I've previously worked on the ERC-funded INDIRECT-project (Intergenerational Cumulative Disadvantage and Resource Compensation), which examines processes of intergenerational social inequality and how lost family resources are compensated by other or other’s resources.
I've also worked as a postdoc at the University of Turku, the European University Institute (Italy), University of Bamberg (Germany) and University of Oxford (UK). I defended my doctoral thesis at the University of Oxford on the education of children of immigrants.

My research focuses on social inequalities in education and the labour market, in particular those related to ethnicity, gender and social origin. I mostly use quantitative methods in my research.

I generally teach courses related to advanced quantitative methods and social inequality.
